This has been my go to. Close to home. Everyone I have met is very friendly. Also I have most of my handpays at Downstream

This hosted player has always loved Downstream. Last year was an amazing year, but this year has been horrible. $1000 lasts about an hour whereas last year, we could play on that startup money literally all night long and leave with easily 10x that in our pockets. This year, we’re lucky to leave with any money. We love the VGT red spin machines and hit like crazy last year. This year if you can get a machine to red spin, you’re lucky. Most of the “bonus” options have been removed from the VGT machines (pick the ducks, pick the jewel bag, the vault, etc). The bingo patterns which drive these machines just don’t happen anymore. Those who play these machines know what I’m talking about. Have been a Platinum, hosted player for over 2 years, but we can’t even reach Platinum status this year without risking the family farm!! It’s horrible. Our host is no longer able to give free play and the free play I do receive is now down to $30 a week. Last year I averaged $100 a week with more available for the asking. We haven’t received a “bounce back card” in months. The food has gone downhill badly. Red Oak food has dropped in quality..service is top notch tho. The buffet food is horrible and forget about Legends…yuck. As someone else mentioned, the CEO is definitely not a people person..just the other night, he nearly ran me down and couldn’t even be bothered to say excuse me. We’ve been to numerous VIP events where Stuart didn’t even bother to make an appearance. Now, these are the big players who spend millions at Downstream every year. The least he or any of the management team could do is stop by for a bit. As others have said, take your money elsewhere. You’ll get better perks, better food and better payout. Sorry Downstream, this player is moving up the ranks at other casinos..your loss.

Was a very good casino, good, and perks. RedOak steak house has horrible food now. The machines are so tight now. Their concerts and entertainment is outdated. Hosting cannot give you anything extra no matter how much you spend. Save your money and go to other casinos. The new GM Stuart does not care, and runs it that way. Other casinos offer way more and seem to always be looser machines.

Used to enjoy going and could have a good time with a $200-$300 budget that would last all night now lasts 30 minutes if you’re lucky! Seems to have changed to more Vegas style machines than VGT.
