Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs is 1 of 9 Cherokee casinos in Oklahoma. It features 1500 slot machines a large variety of table games. off track betting along with poker rooms and a high limit slot room. Food features Flint creek Steakhouse and a new food court coming soon. Entertainment is provided in Seven bar and the Qualla Ballroom. The seven story Hotel has 140 guest rooms and 7 suites. Atmosphere
Cherokee West Siloam springs has a very large gaming floor that is easy to navigate with plenty of wide open spaces so you never feel cramped. During COVID-19 there was a VERY strict mask mandate and no smoking policy along with plastic dividers in between slots. No other casino we go to had this strict of policy & many times was very burdensome and made it very hard to even have a drink. While I understand this was put in place to keep patrons safe and make them feel comfortable, I spoke to many patrons at the make shift smoke shack outside who felt it was just too much. While the mask mandates and no smoking policy are gone during the writing of this review the dividers between the slots remain.
Perks/Comps
Cherokee features One Star rewards card which can be used and any of the 9 Cherokee casinos (free play is only available at your home casino). You can download an app and be able to track your points you have accumulated and free play you have, One star rewards members can even earn a free cruise or Las Vegas Stay. There are many nights through out the week that you are able to win extra free play and when you get enough points you will be invited to get free gifts. Every weekend there is a promotion giving away either cash or prizes or both. When it comes to free play Cherokee West Siloam Springs is on the lower side of the local area casinos we visit I am at the highest card level and still get the small amount of free play I have always gotten.
Entertainment
Cherokee features the Qualla ballroom for special events and giveaways through out the year. Seven bar in my opinion is one of if not THE best entertainment venue of any casino in the area. Seven bar features local bands every week Thursday thru Saturday nights and even hosts national touring acts on occasion. The stage is above the bar area which is rather unique and there is not a bad seat in the entire bar. I think you will find Seven bar to be a very pleasant experience with the exception of when Covid-19 Mask mandates were in place, it made it very difficult to even have a drink let alone enjoy your time there.
Cherokee Casino Gaming
As mentioned above Cherokee West Siloam Springs has a lot of gaming options. If you are table player you will enjoy many games such as blackjack, craps, roulette and more. If you are like me an enjoy slots you will find a very large variety of slots in many denominations and a high limit slot room. Cherokee is adding new slots all the time the only detractor from that is the large amount of broken slots, many of these slots have been broken for a year or more others seem to be broken on a regular basis. I understand with COVID-19 help is low and hard to get but I would think a priority would be that machines with no paper would be filled as soon as possible but many times entire banks are down due to no paper.
*update 6/15/22 the amount of previously broken machines a went way down and many NEW slots have been installed this is a welcome improvement.
Cherokee Casino Food
Cherokee currently features the Flint Creek Steakhouse and Sweet treats food and coffee bar. We have only experienced breakfast at the Flint Creek Steakhouse because it is very hard to get into unless you remember to get reservations ahead of time. The breakfast is good and is basically what you could get in the River Cane Cafe previously. Speaking of River Cane both the Buffett and Cafe are currently closed to make way for a new food court that we are looking forward to coming soon.
Update 6/15/22 the new food court is now open, we have not been able to sample everything but food is good so far!
Cherokee Casino Hotel
Cherokee features a 7 story hotel with 140 guest rooms and 7 suites. the rooms are nice and are on par with most casinos in the area. they are generally clean with the features you would expect with a large walk in shower and nice size TV. The only down side we have experienced that we do not at other casinos is the vent location of the HVAC, It tends to blow right on the beds which we find uncomfortable and usually try to find a way to deflect it a different direction.

So many machines are broken , or running so fast that you have to keep putting lots of money in them to get it to hit.
They would be better if they would actually pay out without having to put thousands in machines to get a good bonus or even a nice win.
I played Mr Bill tonight, machine sounded like it was on speed, you could hear it.
To say the least that machine should have a hammer smashed against it , by the high limit area.
Def thinking its time to try different casinos for a while.
At the moment i am disappointed in them.
